K, I asked this question in one of the other topics, but I figured it would be better to start a new one since I'm seriously curious to know what people think about this. Which one pisses you off, or makes you sick, or whatever more: When someone masterbates in public or has sex in public. Are they both repulsive or are they both fine or which one's worse? I wanna hear what guys and girls think of that because it really makes me curious.

My rule with just about anything is as long as no one's causing harm to anyone, I'm not really going to care. I'll add for this particular situation that they should make sure to clean up after themselves.
same here. It doesn't bother me either way. If they're making any noise, I'll probably try to listen. I guess there really is a fine line, but for me, I'm not exactly sure where it is. For instance, if someone was having all out passionate naked sweaty sex in a large mall, right in a really crowded section, I think that's a bit much. To me though, maintaining a degree of discreetness seems a lot more erotic and sentual than just totally not giving a shit at all about surroundings.
It all depends on setting. If I go to the beach and see a couple having sex, I'll walk away and leave them alone, just like I hope they'd do for me. If I'm sitting in a movie theater and people are making out, if it isn't disturbing me, who cares. If I'm eating dinner though, and someone is getting bent over the next table, that might ruin my meal, so I'd have a problem with it. I don't care if someone does it, I've done it before, just don't do it where you can bother others. Bothering others isn't what makes it hot, being in public is what makes it hot.

If I'm not out there, I don't care, and if i am, as long as they're not making it completely obvious, I still don't really care. But, if it gets to a point where it just can't be left alone, well, I guess both would be a little disturbing to me.
Neither would disturb me unless their were underage people around, the people doing it were underage or it was being done in a sacred place i.e. a temple, church etc. or a patriotic one. So long as no one is being harmed or forced into anything, it's all fine by me.
I personally prefer discretion and privacy but now and then the thought of doing it in a public place can certainly be arousing. I would enjoy the thrill of it I think as long as it didn't offend anyone like underage or whatever if they happened to be around. Either sex or masturbation is ok with me. Both are natural things. And as far as anyone else doing it with me around I dont think it would bother me unless it were somehow repulsive in some way.

Tiffanitsa's post reminded me of something that happened a few years ago. A group of female co-workers who were good friends and always took at least one trip together every year came across a guy masturbating in some sort of church or temple they were visiting. I find something like that pretty disgusting. He didn't even stop or look embarrassed when he saw them noticing what he was doing.
As far as sex in public places, I have mixed feelings about that. If you are on a beach or some place where there are no people around when you start out, then it's OK even if some people come walking along later. But doing it in a very public place where there are always lots of people, then I say go get a room.
I don't think I could ever do it myself in a place that public. I'd rather keep that part of me for the bedroom or a place where only my partner and I would be. But I guess some people crave that kind of attention. To be fair, though, there are establishments for such things.

This reminds me of a time when I was about nine. I was at my stepsister's half-brother's birthday party and we were at a big park near here called Valley of the Moon, I think, and there's a baseball diamond nearby. Running away, making noise, generally acting confident causes them to back off usually. But if one is alone, she's more likely to be preyed upon.
That's why it's important to teach self-defense starting at a very young age, and possibly even to carry a small knife, pepper spray or even alarm when older. I'd say some kind of chemical that could make the person unconscious would be even better. I'm not sure how much of this would be practical for the blind, so in our case, especially at night or when really young or really old, it's probably best to travel with someone.
ok, if you know me @ all, you're gonna here this a lot. Nothing can go wrong if you gotta gun or a knife. Even a bottle of pepper spray is fine. I don't consider myself American but I must agree with you there. Still, I highly doubt that anyone will give a gun to a totally blind person, and some states, like NJ, have consealed weapons laws. Fuck, they even have problems with AirSoft guns!
